Location
Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is ideally situated near the train station and just a few blocks from the main street and Isola Ortiga, offering a taste of the Middle Ages. The rooms, while spacious and bathed in sunlight in the afternoons, could benefit from some updates for a more cozy feel. The service is top-notch, with extremely friendly and helpful staff, though the dining options are basic. The location is convenient for exploring Ortigia but not so much for other sights in Siracusa. The facilities are adequate, but the overall value for money may be impacted by certain aspects.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. The rooms, although snug, had all the necessary amenities like a tea tray and television, and the heating/cooling worked well. The continental breakfast with meats, croissants, and cheese was delightful, paired with excellent 'espresso' coffee. Despite the slight noise from the street, this hotel gets a solid 5-star recommendation from me!
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, although offering a sea view from the small terrace, was noisy at times with outdated furniture and could use a renovation for a cozier feel. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster with friendly and extremely helpful staff but also encounters with unfriendly and unhelpful members. The location was convenient being close to the train station and not far from the old city, offering easy access to various attractions. The dining options varied from basic to disappointing, with a mix of sweet and savory choices available. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with plenty of storage, facing South-West on a quiet street close to the historic Center. The service is top-notch, with extremely helpful and flexible staff. The location is great for exploring Ortigia and nearby attractions, though the maintenance could be better managed. The dining options vary from sweet to savory but could use improvement. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service in a convenient location.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make my experience memorable. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the historic center and filled with warmth and light. The rooms may be considered small but are equipped with all essential amenities, making them cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was a delightful continental spread, and I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. A definite 5-star recommendation!
